Refund policy

Personalised and custom-made products

Most Making To Create products are created specifically for you using your photographs, names, wording or other chosen details.

Because personalised and custom-made products cannot normally be resold, they cannot be returned or refunded because you have changed your mind.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible at maketocreate@gmail.com.

If work has not yet begun, I will do my best to help. Once photograph editing, proof preparation, printing or production has started, cancellation may not be possible.

Proof approval

Please check your proof carefully, including photographs, spelling, wording, colours and personalisation details.

Changes should be requested before approving the proof. If I don’t receive a response within 24 hours, I may continue with the design shown to prevent the order from being delayed.

A refund cannot normally be offered for an error that was visible in an approved proof, unless the finished product differs from the approved design.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from the approved proof, please contact me at maketocreate@gmail.com with:

• Your name and order number
• A description of the problem
• Clear photographs showing the item and packaging

Once the issue has been reviewed, an appropriate replacement, repair or refund will be arranged. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Non-personalised products

For eligible non-personalised products purchased online, please contact me within 14 days of receiving the order if you wish to cancel and return it.

After notifying me, you have a further 14 days to return the product. Items must be unused and returned in their original condition.

Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return postage. Any refund due will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Digital products

Digital products cannot normally be returned or refunded once they have been downloaded or accessed, except where required by law or where the file is faulty.
